NX SYNC

The NX SYNC is a compact, plug-and-play timecode interface that bridges SMPTE (LTC) and MIDI Timecode (MTC) for seamless show synchronization. It captures Linear Timecode (LTC) in multiple SMPTE formats via its 3-pin XLR connection and converts it to an MTC stream that can be read by ONYX or any MTC-compatible software. It can also operate in reverse—taking MTC and outputting it back as SMPTE—making it a flexible solution for integrating lighting with audio, video, and playback systems.

Built on a powerful hardware architecture for instant processing and minimal frame delay, NX SYNC helps ensure accurate, reliable cue timing in professional environments. It requires no custom drivers and connects via USB for fast setup. When used with ONYX, configuration and management are handled directly inside the ONYX software.

Software Notes

Operating NX SYNC with ONYX requires a Windows PC running ONYX.
Update ONYX to the latest version before first use and check periodically for updates.
In addition to ONYX, NX SYNC can be used as an SMPTE-to-MTC / MTC-to-SMPTE device with Windows 10 and macOS applications.
